Requirements for airlock fasteners

The choice of fasteners should be made based on the weight and characteristics of the object to be suspended. The fasteners must meet the following conditions:

      • The pressure that a fastener or anchor must withstand depends on the density of the air block;

      • Metal fasteners or anchors must have a protective coating;

      • The thicker and longer the bracket or anchor, the more reliable its attachment to the wall;

     Holes for fasteners or anchors should be made using an electric drill.

     It is forbidden to use the hammer mode - impact drilling creates a network of cracks in the block,

    Which weakens the material.

    All anchors must be of sufficient length. Short airlock anchors are not recommended, especially in the case of:

    If the fasteners carry not static, but vibrational loads (air conditioners, fans, or other internal motorized devices).

    Types  of fasteners  for airlocks

    Aerated concrete fastening elements can be divided into two groups:

        • Dubels

        • Anchors

      Self-cutting tree

      Steel dowel

      Bolted anchor

      Butterfly Anchor

      Plastic or aluminum screw dowel

      Facade dowel

      Spiral nail Turbo Fast

      Anchor self-tapping Befast

      Chemical anchor

      When choosing the type of fastener, you should first consider the load vector. If the furniture is static, that is, there are no swings or vibrations, then you can limit yourself to fasteners designed for small or medium loads. For devices with variable loads, as well as for non-static devices, strong fasteners are needed - chemical anchors. It is important to use a drill of the correct diameter.
