What is a hydrophobizer?

– Hydrophobization is protection against water. The process by which the surface of a material stops transmitting water. Waterproofing is very important in renovation and construction, as water damages many building materials – from flooring to roofing. The more porous the material, the more it needs a hydrophobizer.

– If you use a hydrobooster correctly, water will not penetrate even pores smaller than 1 mm.

– When we treat a surface with a water repellent, its chemically active particles penetrate the material and fill its pores with special, microscopic crystals. These crystals form a protective film that prevents water from penetrating inside. At the same time, they allow air to circulate inside the material.
