QIS AQUA MAX waterproofing membrane

QIS AQUA MAX waterproofing membrane – a 100% waterproof textile membrane consisting of a 3-layer thermoplastic layer.

• Bathroom, toilet, kitchen, areas exposed to water. Before laying under metallic granite and metal tiles.

• In the areas where concrete touches the ground in the foundation of a building.

Terms of use

The working surface must be free of rust, all kinds of dirt, the concrete surface must be cleaned. If the concrete has cracks and uneven areas, they must first be filled and leveled with a cement-based material. First, 5-8 kg of S1 standard elastic adhesive cement (AQUA BOND S1) or QIS FIXMAX FLEX. Then the AQUA MAX textile is fixed to the surface. In the places of overlap, the textile should be applied 10% of the area at once. The joints should be glued with polyurethane glue. Tiles can be laid on the fixed textile with elastic adhesive cement. It is advisable to make a 20 cm transition between the floor and the wall in the corners.
