Epoxy primer QIS EPO ASTAR NT

QIS EPO ASTAR NT Epoxy Primer – a two-component, low-viscosity, solvent-free primer based on epoxy resin that easily adheres even to damp concrete and mineral surfaces.

Areas of application
• For indoor and outdoor use,

• As a primer for applying epoxy floor coatings,
• As a primer before applying polyurethane and polyurea waterproofing materials,

Method of application
Before applying the floor covering, the surface must be cleaned of rust, oil, grease and dust. The application area must be sanded and prepared for the covering.

Mixing
Part A is mixed using a mixer. Then Part B – the hardener is added to Part A and mixed at low speed for 3-4 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Application
For primer application, the prepared mixture is applied to the surface with a roller, squeegee or trowel. It can also be used as a primer by mixing a moisture-resistant epoxy primer and aggregate.
The mixture should be applied within 30 minutes. The waiting time between coats is 6 to 12 hours, depending on weather conditions.
Final drying is completed in 7 days. After application, the surface should be protected from contact with water for at least 1 day.
