Concrete admixture, with its chemical substances, provides structural waterproofing in concrete by filling pores and capillary spaces.

Characteristics
• Increases resistance to aggressive chemicals.
• Increases the resistance of concrete to sulfuric acid and sulfate.
• Increases freeze-thaw resistance in concrete.
• Slows down the corrosion of reinforcement in concrete.
• Has no corrosive effect.
• Does not contain chlorine.
• Resistant to water pressure up to 14 bar.
• Resistant to water pressure from positive and negative directions.
• Fills cracks and capillary gaps that may later appear in concrete
(max. 400 microns)
• Can be used in drinking water tanks. Non-toxic.
• Increases the early and final compressive strength of concrete.

Usage instructions in concrete mixing plant with concrete mixing water;

• After mixing 70% of the mixing water, QIS CRS LIQUID admixture is added to the concrete.
• Stir until a homogeneous mixture and the desired mass are achieved.

In a concrete mixer truck at a concrete plant;
• While the concrete mixer truck is rotating, QIS CRS LIQUID diluted in water is added to the concrete. After the mixer has been rotating for at least 5-10 minutes, the concrete mixer truck can be started.

In ready-mix concrete in a truck mixer at a construction site:
• While the truck mixer is rotating, QIS CRS LIQUID dissolved in water is added to the concrete, mixed for at least 10-15 minutes, then the concrete is poured.

Dosage
• Water: Cement Ratio Use (by weight of cement)
< 0.50 2%
> 0.50 3%
• For QIS CRS LIQUID admixture to be effective, the water/concrete ratio in the concrete should be a maximum of 0.55.

Warning • Since QIS CRS LIQUID admixture contains water and the water/cement ratio increases, the consistency of the concrete in the concrete plant should be produced with a relatively low grade. • Due to the material structure, crusting/crystallization may occur in the dosing machine. Therefore, the machine should be cleaned thoroughly at regular intervals. It should be rinsed. • Precautions should be taken against crusting/crystallization that may occur in the mixer . • After adding QIS CRS LIQUID admixture, the finished concrete should be used within ~45 minutes.
