Mixture additive / soil concentrate QIS QLATEX 30 kg
Deeply penetrating and hardening primer for exterior and interior use
Also used as an additive to be mixed into cement mixtures. Used to prevent cracking, improve water resistance and adhesion, and harden the surface
Areas of application
• As a primer to be applied to old cement plaster and concrete surfaces.
• As a primer for indoor and outdoor use, before waterproofing wall and roof works.
• For surface treatment before fixing paving stones, to increase adhesion.
• For preparing concrete surfaces before gluing ceramics and mosaics.
• For priming between old and new concrete for better adhesion.
• Makes concrete mix more water-resistant and elastic. It is anti-corrosive and does not contain chlorine.
For treating the surface between old and new concrete (to improve adhesion) or for treating an existing wall before plastering with a cement mixture:
In case new concrete is poured on existing concrete, to improve the adhesion between the two concretes. 1 kg of cement in the proportion of 3 kg of sand and 1 kg of QLATEX in the proportion of 2 kg of water are mixed together. The resulting mixture is applied with a roller to a thickness of 2 mm on the existing surface that has been previously prepared 12 hours ago. Before the treated surface is completely dry, new concrete is poured.
If the existing wall is plastered (plastered) again with a cement mixture, the existing wall is treated (primed) again with the above-mentioned proportion, but 1 day before plastering.
To improve the water resistance of the cement mixture.
Mix 50 kg of cement with 150 kg of sand and 30 liters of QLATEX with 120 liters of water. The resulting cement mixture is ready for use.
The permissible ratio of water and QLATEX is from 1:1 to 1:4.
