Mortar cement repair mixture QIS REPFIX 500 S

QIS REPFIX 500 S – R4 class, cement-based, waterproof, non-shrinking, non-chlorinated, fibrous, sulfate-resistant, polymer-modified, high-quality structural repair material.

Application Method
Surface Preparation
• All loose parts on the application surface must be cleaned and the surface must be rough
• The edges of the surface must be vertically broken and the depth must be at least 0.2 cm
• Rust on the reinforcement must be cleaned, if necessary, new reinforcement must be added
• If there is water leakage on the surface, it must be eliminated with QIS PLUG instant hardener
• The surface must be completely cleaned of adhesive substances such as oil and paint
• The surface must be dampened before application; it must be soaked with water in extremely hot and windy weather

Preparation of the mixture
• 25 kg of powder material is added to 4.5 kg of water, depending on the ambient temperature (water ratio 18%)
• The required amount of powder product is added and mixed with a mixer until a homogeneous mass is obtained
• The material is left to stand for 1-2 minutes
• QIS REPFIX 500 S can be applied with a spatula or by spraying
• It can be applied in one layer up to 50 mm thick
• In case of thicknesses greater than 50 mm, it can be applied 2-3 times
• An additional layer should be applied after 24 hours
• Final leveling and finishing is done at the beginning of drying with a wooden or plastic spatula
Conditions of use
• The surface applied in extremely dry, windy and exposed to direct sunlight should be protected for 24-48 hours
