Preparing the work surface

Attention! Before carrying out work with POLIMAX. When covering porcelain stoneware or similar tiles, fill the gaps between the tiles. Cracks larger than 1 mm must be filled with filler. Also, as a primer, the epoxy two-component transparent primer QIS EPO ASTAR SF.

The surface must be free from adhesion-preventing substances such as dust, oil, paint, silicone. Weak parts of the concrete must be repaired with QIS REPFIX 500S, existing static cracks must be repaired QIS QLATEX . Dynamic (moving) cracks must be filled QIS POMA 35 polyurethane sealant, vertical corners must be properly capped. Holes from which water inflows must be repaired with QIS PLUG.
